Many companies believe that the environment is only a marketing challenge where they simply have to buy carbon offsets to compensate for their poorly calculated carbon footprint.

At Angel we do not agree with this...

We have invested heavily in a program to evaluate and measure our genuine environmental impact.

This is much, much more than just a 'carbon footprint' exercise, but an all-encompassing board level strategy to ensure we improve all elements of our environmental performance.

We have commissioned water industry and environmental expert David Joyce to oversee this honest look at ourselves.

This will give us a true understanding of the CO2 emissions involved in each step for the supply of mains fed water coolers, bottled water coolers, plus, our other products and services, and enable us to identity where we can make the biggest steps in reducing our emissions.

  • Angel supplied a natural product that is 100% good for people.
  • We use ecologically sound recyclable packaging materials.
  • We take on the responsibility for the recycling of our product packaging and not rely on the consumer / end user to recycle.
  • We manage our natural resources responsibly to ensure their sustainability.
  • We ensure the steps we take are sustainable by reducing carbon emissions wherever possible, and not to use offsetting as a replacement for carbon emission reduction as so many people in industry are doing. Angel is not a carbon neutral company, in fact we do not believe it is possible to operate a 'carbon neutral' business. However, we do believe in a genuine, open policy of energy reduction.
